Budaya Mutu dan Kepemimpinan Kristen Partisipatif dalam Mengatasi Krisis Literasi di NTT

Abstrak

Krisis literasi di Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) merupakan persoalan multidimensi yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor sosial, ekonomi, budaya, dan pendidikan. Rendahnya akses terhadap bahan bacaan, ketimpangan kapasitas guru, transisi bahasa daerah ke bahasa Indonesia, serta keterbatasan infrastruktur digital menjadi tantangan utama. Artikel ini mengkaji sinergi Total Quality Management (TQM) dan kepemimpinan Kristen partisipatif sebagai strategi penguatan literasi. TQM menyediakan kerangka peningkatan mutu melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan perbaikan berkelanjutan dengan melibatkan seluruh pemangku kepentingan. Sementara itu, kepemimpinan Kristen partisipatif mendorong kolaborasi antara kepala sekolah, guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat dalam mengembangkan program literasi yang kontekstual berbasis budaya lokal. Sinergi kedua pendekatan tersebut menghasilkan model penguatan literasi yang inklusif, berkelanjutan, dan berorientasi pada mutu. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa peningkatan literasi di NTT memerlukan transformasi budaya organisasi sekolah, partisipasi komunitas, serta kepemimpinan kolaboratif selain penyediaan sarana pendidikan.
