Dimensi Soteriologi Imperatif dalam Injil Matius
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dimensi soteriology imperative dalam Injil Matius. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pustaka dan menganalisis dimensi soteriology Matius. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Dimensi soteriology Matius dengan tegas menghubungkan konsep keselamatan dengan tindakan dan ketaatan orang percaya, yang harus menjadi satu kesatuan dalam pribadi orang percaya. Ibarat pohon yang tidak berbuah maka akan ditebang. Dimensi soteriology Imperatif Matius adalah tuntutan yang kuat untuk menaati perintah-perintah Allah, yang ditetapkan dalam konteks struktur yang mendasari kasih karunia dan kerangka perjanjian baru Allah mengenai keselamatan dan pengampunan di dalam Yesus. Melaksanakan “Kehendak Tuhan” bagi umat Kristiani dalam arti tertentu mempunyai arti “poieo” : berbuat, menaati hukum secara menyeluruh. Kata “poieō” ini selalu ditekankan dalam Injil Matius sebagai motivasi yang mendorong orang percaya untuk hidup taat kepada Tuhan.
