Imamat am orang percaya dan relevansinya bagi pengembangan misi dalam konteks pluralisme di Indonesia
Abstrak
Imamat Am Orang Percaya merupakan salah satu pengajaran utama dalam reformasi gereja di abad pertengahan, namun sayangnya implementasinya dalam praktik hidup jemaat masih sering disalahpahami atau diabaikan. Tulisan ini hendak meneliti hakikat dan relevansi Imamat Am Orang Percaya sebagai landasan misi bagi setiap orang percaya, khususnya dalam konteks kemajemukan di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah kepustakaan. Di akhir tulisan ini ditemukan bahwa setiap orang Kristen harus memahami bahwa apapun profesinya di dunia sekuler merupakan panggilan Tuhan atas dirinya, yang harus dilihat sebagai penghayatan imannya kepada Allah. Dalam konteks kemajemukan di Indonesia setiap orang Kristen dipanggil untuk mewujudkan kerukunan dan kedamaian di tengah masyarakat. Kaum awam memiliki peran yang strategis untuk melakukan pelayanan misi yang inklusif sehingga menghindarkan gereja dari sifat eksklusivisme.
