Kepemimpinan Menurut Alkitab dan Penerapannya dalam Kepemimpinan Lembaga Kristen
Abstrak
Alkitab banyak mencatat tentang tokoh-tokoh kepemimpinan dari satu zaman ke zaman berbeda. Kepemimpinan Kristen tidak bisa disamakan dengan kepemimpinan pada umumnya karena gaya kepemimpinan Kristen harus bertolak dari Alkitab sebagai tolok ukur kebenaran. Seorang pemimpin harus memahami sumber dan asal mula otoritas kepemimpinan. Sumber otoritas dan asal mula kepemimpinan berasal dari Allah yang berdaulat. Allah yang memilih dan memanggil seorang pemimpin untuk melakukan tugas dan tanggung jawab berdasarkan agenda kerja Allah. Karena itu kepemimpinan Kristen harus bisa menghadapi berbagai masalah dan tantangan yang muncul pada zamannya. Surat 1 Timotius 3 dan Titus 1 memberikan kualifikasi dasar bagi para penatua dan diaken yang menjadi representatif bagi kepemimpinan di gereja dan lembaga Kristen pada masa kini.
