Melestarikan Kearifan Lokal sebagai Upaya untuk Meningkatkan Kesadaran Budaya di Era Globalisasi

Abstrak

Tulisan ini bermaksud untuk menyelidiki pentingnya pelestarian kearifan lokal untuk mengembangkan kesadaran budaya di tengah-tengah pengaruh budaya global yang masuk tanpa bisa ditolak ke Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis kritis terhadap budaya, maka ditemukan bahwa pelestarian kearifan lokal akan mampu mengembangkan keasadaran budaya bagi bangsa Indonesia. Kearifan lokal dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan pembelajaran dan juga sebagai materi untuk pengembangan karakter, sehingga bangsa Indonesia akan terus menghidupi filosofi hidup yang telah mentradisi di nusantara. Filosofi hidup itu adalah etika yang merupakan kebenaran universal yang diberikan Tuhan melalui kemampuan akal budi manusia.
