Sikap Orang Kristen Terhadap Kekayaan
Abstract
Mungkin kita adalah sebagian kecil dari banyak orang yang menjadi jengah terhadap perilaku segelintir orang yang dengan seenaknya tanpa rasa takut (baca: berdosa) korupsi, merampok uang negara, yang notabene adalah uang rakyat. Tidak hanya dari kalangan birokrat, tapi juga para politisi Senayan. Repotnya, bak penyakit menular, budaya koruspsi itu telah menjalar ke semua lini. Karni Ilyas mengatakan: “Kalau eksekutif, yudikatif legislatifnya saja korupsi, lalu mau dibawa ke mana bangsa ini?” Pertanyaan yang tidak perlu dijawab dan takkan pernah terjawab. Tetapi apakah sebenarnya yang mendorong individu untuk melakukan tindakan seperti itu?Kebutuhan?Keinginan?Atau ketamakan yang telah menghilangkan rasa kemanusiaan, sehingga manusia telah menjadi serigala bagi manusia lainnya (homo sacrares homini).
