Keunikan Inkarnasi Kristus
Studi Perbandingan Inkarnasi Visnu dengan Inkarnasi Kristus
Abstract
Tidak dapat disangkal bahwa doktrin inkarnasi adalah dasar yang esensisi bagi doktrin keselamatan dalam kekristenan. Grudem mendefi-nisikan inkarnasi sebagai tindakan Allah Anak yang mengambil natur manusia bagi diri-Nya. Hal yang serupa juga diungkapkan oleh Paul Enns bahwa inkarnsi berarti “di dalam daging” dan menunjukkan pada tindakan di mana Putra Allah yang kekal mengambil bagi diri-Nya tambahan natur manusia, melalui kelahiran dari seorang anak dara. Allah yang mengambil natur manusia dalam inkarnasi Kristus merupakan keunikan dari kekristenan. Namum demikan konsep inkarnasi ini ternyata tidak menjadi monopoli kekristenan karena secara umum inkarnasi dapat berarti penjelmaan roh dalam wujud makhluk lain terutama manusia. Selain kekristenan yang mengenal konsep inkarnasi, agama Hindu juga mengenal konsep ini khususnya pada penjelamaan Visnu, salah satu dari trimurti (tiga dewa utama agama Hindu). Melalui makalah ini saya mencoba memperbandingkan antara inkarnasi Visnu dengan inkarnasi Kristus. Dengan perbandingan ini saya mencoba menunjukkan keunikan dari inkarnsi Kristus.Downloads
