Kota-kota perlindungan dalam kitab Yosua 20:1-9 dan Bilangan 35:9-34
Sebuah refleksi bagi penegakan hukum di Indonesia
Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai kota-kota perlindungan dalam Yosua 20:1-9 dan Bilangan 35:9-34. Topik yang sama mengenai kota perlindungan, namun memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan. Penelitian ini akan membandingkan persamaan dan perbedaan antara kota-kota perlindungan menurut Yosua 20:1-9 dan Bilangan 35:9-34 dan memaparkan relevansinya dengan orang percaya di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode historis kritis, melalui kritik redaksi, kritik sumber dan kritik bentuk. Kota-kota perlindungan dalam Yosua 20:1-9 dan Bilangan 35:9-35, baik dari sisi redaktur, sumber maupun sitz im leben berbeda, sehingga tujuan teologinya pun berbeda. Namun, kesamaannya ada di paradigma kota perlindungan dari kedua teks ini, yaitu untuk kemanusiaan dan kultus. Refleksi bagi penegakan hukum di Indonesia adalah penegakan hukum haruslah adil tanpa memandang status sosial dan sama rata terhadap seluruh penduduk Indonesia.
