Praksis Layanan Konseling Praperkawinan dalam Penggembalaan Jemaat
Abstract
Konseling praperkawinan adalah tugas gereja dalam membentuk keluarga kristiani. Salah satu caranya ialah layanan konseling praperkawinan. Setelah melakukan penelitian beberapa gereja-gereja Penulis melihat dengan empat sisi. Dari sisi fisik pasangan suami istri mengalami perkembangan usia perkawinan. Sisi mental, pasangan suami istri lebih memiliki kekhawatiran mengenai perkawinannya termasuk masalah perselingkuhan. Secara sosial terdapat dua hasil, pasangan suami istri bersedia bekerjasama dengan pasangannya dan kurang terbuka untuk bekerjasama dengan pasangannya. Itu didukung oleh faktor budaya. Secara spiritual keterlibatan pasangan suami istri kurang mau melibatkan diri dalam tugas pelayanan di gereja. Layanan konseling praperkawinan adalah usaha untuk mengenal pasangannya. Pasangan dapat mengenal pasangan secara baik dan memiliki sikap yang benar terkait dengan masalah rumah tangga. Masalah yang muncul dalam kehidupan rumah tangga adalah berhubungan dengan rumah tangga dan apa yang terjadi di luar rumah tangga. Pasangan suami istri perlu komitmen mengikuti konseling praperkawinan supaya perkawinan mereka selaras dengan rancangan Allah.
