Kerja dan Tujuannya dalam Perspektif Alkitab
Abstract
Manusia menghabiskan sepertiga hidupnya untuk bekerja, namun kerap manusia memaknai pekerjaannya secara tidak tepat, tidak terkecuali orang Kristen.Akibatnya produktivitas manusia dalam bekerja terhambat.Melalui penggalian terhadap Alkitab, diharapkan ditemukan sikap yang tepat bagi manusia untuk melihat pekerjaannya, sehingga manusia bisa memaknai pekerjannya secara positif dan produktif. Hasil kajian Alkitab menunjukkan bahwa bekerja adalah aktivitas yang melekat kepada manusia secara hakiki sebagai suatu ciptaan di mana Allah, sang pencipta juga digambarkan sebagai sosok yang bekerja. Sementara dalam hal tujuan bekerja terdapat tiga aspek yang muncul sebagai akibat aktivitas kerja, yaitu: aspek diri, sesama dan Tuhan yang secara inheren ada didalamnya.
